Unlike silk screen printing, digital printing on glass does not require screens. Ceramic frit based inks are precisely applied to the surface of the glass. The images to be printed are stored digitally as files and can be replicated in full colour and at high resolutions. The printing is controlled so precisely that the transparency, translucency and opacity can be defined. The printed glass is then tempered to allow the ceramic frit ink to permanently sinter to the glass surface.
